Getting Ready for a Quilt Show

It's time to get ready for our Guild's Quilt Show. The Quilts in Bloom Quilt Show will take place Mother's Day weekend, May 11 to 13, 2012 at the RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive in Ottawa, Ontario.
For more info, visit our internet site at http://www.commonthread.on.ca/

Guild members are busy getting ready for the show. I'll be submitting 3 entries - a quilted jacket that I made during a workshop; a quilt for my niece, also made during a guild workshop; and finally a scrappy quilt. I love that one. It took a year to piece it and another year to quilt it by hand. I swear when I wrap myself in it, it's just full of love! The pattern for Colourful Scraps is from Better Homes and Gardens(2004). Quilt-Lovers' Favorites, Vol. 4.  Pattern: "Heaven's Stairway".

I just have to prepare sleeves to hang the two quilts and make labels for all of them. That should keep me out of trouble this weekend!

Here are some photos of my creations.
This is the jacket, all in fall colours. The pattern is Noelle's Jacket.

Hope to see you at the show!
Happy quilting!
